Competition exists in every system, every regime, and every sphere of life because resources are scarce while human wants are virtually unlimited.
However, the degree and nature of competition vary across systems.In a capitalist system, competition often becomes more intense and, at times, can lead to greater exploitation, unethical practices, deceit, and fraud when profit maximization is pursued without adequate regulation, accountability, and ethical restraints.
