This Is the World
I was just watching the play “Dukha Deigala Daradi Bandhu” on television. In the play, the hero (Vinod) is misunderstood by everyone and subjected to injustice and suffering—even by his wife (Bebina), as well as by those whom he had once helped.
In the end, the hero renounces worldly life and becomes a monk. However, when he is about to leave as a renunciant, everyone tries to stop him. Yet, he remains firm in his decision.
Such is the world, and such is the strange nature of human character.
