Give independence to media to do it’s duty
Whoever rules can’t solve all problems. There is no short cut method to achive higher level of prosperity for all.
But a government should admit it’s failure and allow all pillars of democracy especially the judiciary and media to work independently. But today, one is considered efficient and honest , if he/she is loyal to ruling party and enhance political interest of ruling class.
Today, if you see electronic media, you will se how they have become instrument of government ‘s propoganda. It has become a business only. Doordarshan is just government’s spokesperson . People ‘s problems, sufferings are not discussed. People are told to accumulate wealth only. Journslim which is a vaccine against misinformation has been twisted to support the ruling class. People are not getting correct information. Attempt is not made to cure same and curb the darker side of society . Iam not telling to support or oppose any political party but discuss people’s problems and societal degradation and conflagration. We will be affected. No amount of wealth and power can keep our children immune to societal degradation and conflagration caused by inequality and poverty. Push the ruling class to solve economic problems instead of resorting to publicity. If ministers will write articles in their favour, kill space, then what genuine writers will do.An examinee does not become examiners.
Hence, the battle is Intellectual driven and intellectuals are not doing today and this is a real crisis today.
