Prof. Mitali Chinara denying RTI Answer of Utkal University Sexual Harassment Victim

Darshan Samikhya is first newspaper to report Utkal University Sexual Harassment Case happened on 16 August 2024.

We are regularly covering the Case and bringing truth about the Case.

As reported before, Prof. Mitali Chinara is trying to supress the Case and help termination of Supended Faculty Dr. Atal Bihari Das.

The victim has approached Registrar, Utkal University for information regarding copy of her complaint, suspension letter of Dr. Atal Bihari Das, Proceedings of ICC and related information of the Case. It is right of the victim to get these information.

However, Prof. Mitali Chinara has denied to furnish any information which is violation of RTI Act. She is nor furnishing any information as she want to supress the Case and save accused Faculty.

This is the behavior of a female teacher whose student was sexually harassed by suspended faculty Dr. Atal Bihari Das.

Prof. Mitali Chinara is removed from Head of Department position recently as disciplinary action.

We request Internal Complaint Committee, Utkal University to take cognizance of the matter and furnish the information sought by victim as it is her right.
