Cyber Security Awareness Programme Held at Baya Abadhut College
A Cyber Security Awareness Programme was successfully organised on 12th August 2026 at the premises of Baya Abadhut College, Kanimul, Tirtol, Jagatsinghpur,
with the objective of creating awareness among students and staff about the growing challenges and threats in the digital world.
The programme was chaired by Dr. Bibekananda Singh, Principal, Baya Abadhut College. The awareness session was conducted by Sri Ranjan Kumar Majhi, IIC, Krushnanandapur Police Station, along with his dedicated team. They sensitised the students and staff about various forms of cyber threats, online fraud, phishing, identity theft, misuse of social media, protection of personal information, and safe digital practices.
During the interactive session, Mrs. Sanjukta Mohanty, Mrs. Dipi Dipali Mohapatra, and Mr. Prasanta Kumar Sahoo actively interacted with the participants and contributed to making the programme more engaging and meaningful.
The programme proved to be highly informative, interactive, and enlightening, equipping the students and staff with valuable knowledge to remain vigilant and responsible in the digital age.
The programme concluded with a strong message:
“Stay Alert, Stay Safe—Be Cyber Smart!”
