Truth- According Forbes, as of March, 2024, India ranks 12th in the list of most powerful countries. This ranking is based on various factors such as a leader, economic conditions, Political influence, strong international alliances, and military strength.
Propaganda (2) The monthly tax collection of GST crossed 1.4-1.5 lakh crores, this is the economics of a tea seller,
Truth- GST is an indirect tax which is regressive as both rich and poor pay at same rate. the latest Oxfam report “Survival of the Richest: The India Story” has an entirely different take on the issue.
According to the report, a little less than two-thirds (64.3%) of the total GST is coming from the bottom 50% of the population, one-third from the middle 40% and only 3-4% per cent from the richest 10% of the country.
The Oxfam report further says that the bottom 50% of income group spends a higher percentage of their income on indirect taxes than the middle 40% and the top 10% combined. The bottom 50% of the population at an All-India level pays six times more on indirect taxation as a percentage of income compared to the top 10%.
But bitter truth is that revenue collected through corporate tax was much higher than that of personal income tax. But due to corporate tax cut , thing has reversed now .Corporates are most beneficiaries of present tax system.

Propaganda (8 to 10) India is leaving behind other countries
Truth- India has highest population and huge natural resources. It should be number one when all will enjoy prosperity. But that is not happening. India ranked abysmally in all internation indexes and occupies 159th rank out of 180 countries in world freedom press index. There is no development in true sense. Had it been so, there would not be any necessity to provide food grains support to 80 crores people
