The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has recovered property documents worth around Rs 150 crores at the residence of a Maharashtra IPS officer during a search conducted prior to the arrest of her husband in a case related to a Rs 263 crores Income Tax returns fraud, sources said on Saturday.
The search was conducted a few days ago at the IPS officer’s official residence in Colaba. Her husband, Purshottam Chavan, was arrested by the central probe agency earlier this week.
