“An Appeal to the Department of Forests and NGOs Working for Bird Protection”
In the face of rapidly changing climates, our forests and wildlife sanctuaries face unprecedented challenges. The rising temperatures and unpredictable rainfall, particularly during summer and monsoon seasons, present unique risks to vulnerable bird species and their young. Many birds, especially hatchlings, suffer during extreme heat, while sudden downpours destroy their fragile nests, leaving these defenseless creatures at risk.
To ensure the safety of our feathered friends, we urgently call upon the Department of Forests and dedicated NGOs to take proactive steps toward creating protective shelters. Small, natural shelters—strategically placed in nesting areas within forests and sanctuaries—can offer life-saving shade during extreme heat and refuge during heavy rain.
This appeal is for the smallest lives among us, whose silent struggles often go unseen. By taking action today, we can secure a safe habitat for generations of birds to come, helping restore and balance the ecosystem they nurture. Let us work together to shield these innocent beings from harm, reaffirming our commitment to a sustainable and compassionate coexistence with nature.
