Actress Helena Luke, who was Mithun Chakraborty‘s first wife, passed away on Sunday (November 3) in the USA.

She was 68.

Helena was popularly known for her role in Amitabh Bachchan’s 1985 film Mard.

Apart from Mard, Helena appeared in several other movies, including films like Aao Pyar Karen (1983), Do Gulab (1983) and Saath Saath (1982). However, Helena’s journey in Bollywood was not very long.

She was married to Mithun Chakraborty for four months.

Helena, who has been living in the USA for a long time, also worked in Delta Airlines.

Helena made her last post on Facebook at 9:20 am on Sunday where she wrote, “Feeling weird. Mixed emotions and no clue why, discombobulated.”
