Since the start of the Ukraine war three years ago, Vladimir Putin and his close associates have repeatedly issued warnings about engaging in a destructive war with the West and the potential use of nuclear weapons.

Alexei Zhuravlyov, a close ally of Vladimir Putin and deputy head of the parliamentary defense committee, has stated that Russia must be prepared for a potential Third World War and should not hesitate to confront the West. He emphasized that the country’s young male population should prepare to face a potentially catastrophic global conflict within the next three years. Zhuravlyov warned of a serious risk of confrontation with Western nations and insisted that Moscow must not back down from such a challenge.
