When workers fight for justice
Workers are exploited in our exploitative system. The system is rigged in favour of the rich and powerful . The market economy does not function independently rather what finance capital wants, what business behemoths dictates. Hence, working class or weaker sections of society, farmers suffer always
. Their sufferings get exacerbated due to privatization of health and education. Nobody likes to have a wagecut through a strike. But strike is one of the important weapons in the hand of the working class to fight against exploitation and for its legitimate rights . But , to weaken such moments, a campaign is made against a strike stating that people suffer, and the nation loses.
People suffer due to high taxes, inflation, price hike, tax evasion by rich, loan write off, privatisation health and education, lack of job opportunities, inequality too. People suffer in roads, temples when ministers move or make road shows. People suffer when war starts or unnecessary holidays are declared to appease political bosses.
Nation suffers when life becomes standstill due to riot, violence etc. People suffer when bridge collapse. Nation suffers when debate is not done properly in parliament and assemblies and time wasted due to acrimonious and pugnacious behaviour of politicians.
What is truth’ not known to people? The average annual sitting days of the first Lok Sabha, with Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru as the leader of House, was 135 days, and the 17th Lok Sabha, which concluded on February 12, sat only for 55 days on average in a year.per official data, the Lok Sabha lost 5 hours and 37 minutes in the first sitting, an hour and 53 minutes in the second sitting and an astounding 65 hours and 15 minutes in the third sitting.
