I am a science lover. I believe in reasonable evidence only. And the evidence before my eyes is crystal clear.

The flora and fauna, the forests and rivers, the delicate ecosystems that our ancestors protected since time immemorial through their ancient belief systems, are now fading away under the weight of so-called modern progress. Species that once roamed freely are now extinct. Many others are pushed into the shadow of endangerment.

And what about humansтАФthe self-declared тАЬintelligent speciesтАЭ? We are living under tremendous pressure, struggling to survive the very consequences of our own тАЬadvancedтАЭ knowledge system.

Look aroundтАФ

  • Climate change scorching us with unbearable heatwaves and devastating floods.
  • Air pollution choking our lungs and stealing years from our lives.
  • Water pollution poisoning rivers, lakes, and even the oceans.
  • Deforestation cutting away EarthтАЩs lungs.
  • Soil degradation robbing us of fertility and food security.
  • Plastic waste piling up, entering our bodies as microplastics.
  • Biodiversity loss pushing entire ecosystems to collapse.
  • Nuclear and chemical threats hanging like swords over civilization.

All these are man-made problems, born not from ignorance, but from arroganceтАФour misuse of science, technology, and modernization.

Now, I askтАФgive me one valid reason to adopt this kind of modernization, when all I see as the end result is destruction, quarrels, and disturbances. What is the aim of such progress? Is it comfort at the cost of survival? Growth at the cost of generations?

The truth is simple: Science without wisdom is self-destruction. Our ancestors balanced belief with reverence for nature, ensuring continuity of life. Modern humans, in their race for dominance, are breaking that balance.

So, what should be our aim? Not blind modernization, but sustainable modernizationтАФa harmony where science serves nature, not destroys it; where development uplifts all species, not just humans; where progress is measured not in GDP, but in clean air, fertile soil, pure water, and peaceful coexistence.

Until then, modernization is nothing more than a polished mask hiding chaos.

тЬи Am I not right, Bro? Please comment. Or should we keep clapping for our own destruction like wise fools?
