Prime Minister Narendra Modi filed his nomination papers from the Varanasi parliamentary seat for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on Tuesday. According to PM Modi’s affidavit, his movable assets are valued at Rs. 3.02 crore, with Rs. 52,920/- in cash, and he does not own any land, house, or car.

The affidavit also reveals that PM Modi’s taxable income has doubled from Rs. 11 lakh in fiscal year 2018-19 to Rs. 23.5 Lakh in 2022-23. Additionally, PM Modi holds two accounts in the State Bank of India, with Rs. 73,304/- deposited in the Gandhinagar branch and Rs. 7,000/- in the Varanasi branch. Furthermore, he has a Fixed Deposit worth Rs. 2,85,60,338/- in SBI and four gold rings valued at Rs. 2,67,750/-

PM Modi, contesting for a third consecutive term from Varanasi, first ran from the seat in 2014 as the NDA’s prime ministerial candidate. The constituency will vote on June 1 in the seventh and final phase of the election.
