NBEMS conducts Foreign Medical Graduate Examination
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, successfully conducted the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) today for 35,819 candidates.
The examination was held at 71 centres located in 50 cities across 21 states. To ensure stringent examination security, NBEMS appointed over 250 appraisers to oversee the process. This effort was further supported by a flying squad comprising 45 faculty members.
In compliance with directives from the Union Health Minister, senior personnel from the Director General of Health Services (DGHS), the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), and other institutions were also present at all examination centres. No untoward incidents were reported during the examination. The results of the FMGE will be announced by NBEMS in due course.
