Maharashtra student paraglides to reach exam venue on time.
When there is a will there is a way! A student has proved this once again with his sheer determination and presence of mind to reach his exam centre on time.

Samarth Mahangade, from Maharashtra’s Satara district paraglided to the exam centre to avoid getting stuck in traffic.

As per several media reports, a 19-year-old BCom first-year student, who also ran a small juice stall in Panchgani, a popular tourist getaway, got a call from his friends on the day of his examination when they asked him why he was not present in the examination centre.

The centre was 15 km away from his then current location, and it would have taken him longer to reach there owing to the traffic congestion.

This is when he decided to traverse the road (read sky) not taken. Taking help from Govind Yewale, an adventure sports expert from GP Adventures in Panchgani, Samarth pleaded with him to paraglide him to his exam centre as he could not afford to miss it.

Yewale arranged for all the gears, ready for Samarth to fly. The viral video showing Samarth strapping on and taking the flight.

Upon reaching the destination with few minutes to spare, Samarth quickly removed the harness and ran to the exam hall. He entered right at the time when the question papers were being handed out.”
