Difference of Opinion vs Jealousy

There is hardly any family where everyone shares the same opinion on every matter. People naturally hold different views. Similarly, in any organization, differences of opinion are bound to exist. However, once a decision is taken by majority, it must be accepted by all.
But when a person acts out of jealousy towards another’s success, it harms both oneself and the deserving individual. Instead of being envious of someone’s success, one should strive to achieve success through one’s own efforts.
Do not try to suppress others; rather, make an effort to do better than them. This is how society progresses. For example, if one person sings well, another should try to sing even better—not to stop the first person from singing.
Healthy and ethical competition should always be encouraged.
