Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor has become the highest tax-paying female celebrity in India for the year 2024, according to Fortune India 2024.
According to the report, Kareena with her films, endorsements, and business ventures has paid a tax of Rs 20 crore.
Kareena is followed by actress Kiara Advani, who paid Rs 12 crore in taxes. While Katrina Kaif paid a tax of Rs 11 crore this year.
They were the only three female celebrity to feature in the list this year.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is the highest tax-payer among all the Indian celebrities in 2024.
According to the Fortune India report, SRK has paid a tax of Rs 92 crore.
SRK is followed by Thalapathy Vijay, who paid Rs 80 crore tax and Salman Khan, who paid a tax of Rs 75 crore.
Cricketer Virat Kohli also featured in the top five in the Fortune India list as he paid nearly Rs 66 crore tax this year, becoming the highest taxpaying athlete.
