A Prayer for Our People and Our Future
Let us pray with earnest hearts as we step into the days and years ahead.
Lord, You see the tears, the weariness, and the deep frustration of our people. Many are tired, burdened, and fed up with injustice, corruption, and the pain of failed leadership. Look upon our land with mercy, O God.
May You silence every arrogant voice that stands against truth, justice, and compassion. May the so-called “intellectuals,” thinkers, writers, and scholars never use their influence to support systems that oppress the poor, exploit the weak, or justify evil. Let no mind gifted by God be used to defend darkness.
By the power of Your Holy Spirit, remove every wicked ruler, every corrupt leader, and every heart that delights in injustice. Do not allow evil men and women to rise in influence over our people. Uproot pride, greed, deception, and cruelty from our society.
Raise up righteous leaders, men and women who fear God, love truth, defend the weak, heal divisions, and build with wisdom and integrity. Let justice roll like mighty waters. Let righteousness shine like the dawn. Let our land be led not by power-hungry rulers, but by servant-hearted leaders who walk humbly before You.
Lord, let 2026 and the years ahead belong to the righteous, for Your glory and for the blessing of Your people.
