US-India relations set to expand under Namo 3.0
The US President @JoeBiden spoke today with Prime Minister of India @narendramodi to congratulate him and the National Democratic Alliance on their historic victory in India’s general election.
The President also commended the people of India for participating in the largest democratic exercise in human history, with nearly 650 million going to the polls to vote. The two leaders emphasized their commitment to deepening the U.S.-India Comprehensive and Global Strategic Partnership and to advancing their shared vision of a free, open and prosperous Indo-Pacific region.
The two may also meet on the sidelines of a multilateral summit meeting.
Defence, AI, strategic cooperation, tech, defence, economic and space cooperation to be drivers of the partnership.India will also raise issues of Indian professionals and IT professionals with the new NDA partners part of the Modi government.
