On Saturday night, on a tip-off, the police and CRPF launched a joint operation in Diphu, commanded by Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime) Nayanmoni Barman.
Following the interview, the accused directed the police team to a location where guns were stashed in bamboo thickets, according to a senior officer.
The weapons, which are wrapped in a plastic packaging, include an AK series rifle with magazine, three handguns, three live hand grenades, and two mobile phones.
