“According to the police, the incident happened at a village in Dakshina Kannada district, close to Uppinangady town.

While the woman was sleeping, the accused boy, who was in her house on Sunday, made some sexual advances. However, the woman who is his maternal aunt resisted and scolded him. Later when she went back to sleep, the accused killed her fearing that she would tell others about the proposal. After committing the crime, he told his father that she died from a heart attack.”
