Women are soft target. We get examples of it in mythology too. Sita was kidnapped by Ravan, but but she was not forced by Ravan to marry him ,rather she was provided with women guards. When she was rescued she was asked to prove her chastity by her suspecting husband which she gave.That was the end. At Ayodhya she was banished to forest by her husband on the basis of an unfounded allegation when she was carrying. Lastly when she came to Ayodhya with her twin sons again she was asked to prove her chestity which she refused burried alive herself. Draupadi was put as bet in a game by her husband & was dragged to court & attempt was made to derobe her in public before her husbands. During Gujarat pogrom Bilkis Bano was raped by several supporters of ruling party of the state. When the rapists were released they were garlanded. In Manipur women were also target. Country was up rage after Nirbhaya incident ,but no let up in atrocities against women. In Odisha there was attacked ,raped & murder of Chhabirani in last eighties when Congress was in power in the state. Anjana case was there. Now atrocity on woman doctor at Kolkatta medical college.
