ISRAEL AND U.S. OFFICIALS EXPECT IRAN ATTACK AS SOON AS ON MONDAY.
Gen. Michael Kurilla, head of U.S. forces in the Middle East, has arrived in the region amid growing concerns of an imminent Iranian attack on Israel.
This visit comes in response to escalating tensions following the assassinations of senior Hamas and Hezbollah leaders.
U.S. and Israeli officials expect an Iranian attack as early as Monday, prompting the U.S. to bolster its military presence in the region.
Kurilla aims to mobilize an international coalition to defend Israel, with Jordan’s cooperation seen as crucial given its role in previous interceptions of Iranian drones.
Biden, when asked if Iran might stand down:
“I hope so. I don’t know.”
Kurilla’s trip reportedly includes visits to Israel, Jordan, and several other Gulf countries.
