Two Senior Odisha IPS Officers Cleared for Top Central Posts
In a significant development, two senior IPS officers from the Odisha cadre have been empanelled for central deputation at the Director General (DG) or equivalent rank.
Yashwant Jethwa, a 1994-batch IPS officer and current Director of Vigilance, has been empanelled to hold a DG-rank post in the Union Government.
RP Koche, a 1993-batch IPS officer and present Director of Intelligence, has also been cleared for a DG-level position at the Centre.
The empanelment reflects the Centre’s recognition of Odisha cadre officers’ experience and leadership at the national level.
