“Save Democracy, Save Constitution”

With just a week to go for the 18th Lok Sabha election, are you ready to exercise your universal adult franchise?
Let us not forget that it guarantees the right to vote irrespective of any restriction. As it is an important way for voters to control the government. Everyone wants a democracy that is free, fair, representative and tranquil since the ability to vote is not only a right but a responsibility, are you responsible enough to choose the sensible government. No matter whom you cast your vote don’t have a bias judgement basing on any ground, but choose wisely.

Let’s look at the present scenario happening right under our nose. Some few points to be ponder on.

  1. Mayhem in Manipur under double engine Government
  2. Atrocities committing against religious minority(Christian & Muslim).
  3. Introduction of Assam healing(Prevention of Evil) practice bill 2024 undermines secularism and target Christian practice.
  4. Abrogation of Article 370 is a threat to Article 371A.
  5. The solution to the Naga political(Decades old) issue is an empty promise and unfulfilled goal by the government.
  6. Suppression and bias of the media had become a curb on freedom of speech and expression.
  7. Electoral bond scam of 12,769.1 crore which is humongous amount.
  8. Farmers protest in the three farm laws and minimum support price(MSP) unresolved.
  9. Schools affiliated to CBSE around 12000 schools are formally operated by Vidhya Bharati, the education wing of the RSS. The National Education policy(NEP) introduced by the central government has been implemented in Vidhya Bharati (RSS)schools for several years now.
  10. The 2002 Gujarat riots during the regime of Narendra Modi and Babri Majid demolition were removed from class 12 political science syllabus(NCERT).
  11. Under the Broadcasting service regulation Bill 2023, every broadcaster (YouTube channel, Facebook account, Instagram account and even WhatsApp channel) will have to register with the government. Under this law the government will have the power to seize any broadcaster without any prior notice, thus trying to suppress the voice even on the media.
  12. Unfair and prejudiced on the appointment of Indian election commissioners.
  13. Frozen the Bank account of Congress before the 18th Lok Sabha election campaign.
  14. Without trial and conviction Arvind Kejriwal CM Delhi is imprisoned.

The intentions and motives of the present leaders speak volumes;
“BJP MP Ananth Kumar Hedge and BJP candidate Jyoti Mirda has said that the party will amend the constitution after securing a two-third majority in parliament.”

Don’t you feel dictatorship is taking over our democracy. If such trends go on then India will soon be a dictator country, where the voice of the entire citizen will just become a far cry. So let’s come together and vote for a better tomorrow.
