Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the next five years are crucial for the nation as the country have to take a giant leap towards Viksit Bharat in this period.

Giving valedictory address at the BJP National Convention in New Delhi, Mr Modi said, BJP workers keep doing something or the other to serve the country for 24 hours every day of the year but now for the next 100 days they have to work with new enthusiasm and new faith. He said, today is 18th February and the youth who have reached the milestone of 18 years in this period are going to elect the 18th Lok Sabha of the country. Mr Modi said, in the next 100 days, every party karyakarta has to reach out to every new voter, every beneficiary, every community to win everyone’s trust. Mr Modi said, to take NDA to 400, BJP will have to cross the mark of 370. The Prime Minister said, the entire nation believes that BJP Government has made the country free of corruption and terror attacks and improved the lives of poor and the middle-class. Mr. Modi said that the past 10 years have been characterised by bold decisions and futuristic policies. He said, the party has dared to complete tasks that had been left unfinished for decades including the construction of the Ram Mandir, the opening of the Kartarpur corridor, the abrogation of Article 370 and the implementation of the New Education Policy. Prime Minister Modi said, these changes were long-awaited by the people of India. He further added, Nations shape their futures by embracing their history and culture.

Mr Modi during his address paid tributes to Jain Seer Vidyasagar Maharaj who passed away last night saying it is a personal loss for him.
