Rowing: Manipur win one gold and one silver
IMPHAL, Feb 2: Manipur has won a gold and a silver medal in the 41st Senior National Rowing Championship 2024 at the Army Rowing Node in Pune, Maharashtra.
Thangjam Priya Devi and Haobijam Tendenthoi completed women’s 2000 metres double sculls in 7:59.50 to win the gold medal.
Ch Priya Devi, Yumnam Chengloulembi, Thangjam Priya Devi and Haobijam Tendenthoi completed the women’s 2000 metres quadruple sculls in 7:28.40.
The championship, under the Rowing Federation of India, kicked off on January 28.
The event will conclude on February 3.
