sensational case has come to light in Shahpur police station area of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. Till now it is the in-laws who have been harassing the married woman. Many such cases keep coming to light every day. But this time the people of her parents’ house cheated and grabbed Rs 14,60,500 from their daughter and now they are threatening to kill her if she asks for it. Based on the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case of forgery against her parents.
Kiran Srivastava, wife of Durgesh, resident of Janpriya Vihar Colony of Shahpur police station area, has accused her father and brothers of embezzling money by forgery. He told the police that his maternal home is in Ram Janaki Nagar of Shahpur police station area. His father came to him about two years ago and said that your brother is unemployed. He has some business to do, but due to financial constraints he is not able to start it. The financial condition of the house is very bad. If you had asked for some money from your husband and in-laws, your brother would have started some work. As the work progresses, your money will be returned with interest.
According to the woman, I told my father at that time that we ourselves were facing problems. It is quite difficult to arrange money. Later on May 20, 2022, the parents and three brothers came together and told that an oil mill was to be opened in Gulriha. The final form has been given. Money is needed to run the mill. Respecting everyone, following my father’s advice, I gradually gave a total of Rs 14,60,500 to my brothers for their business.
The woman told the police that a lot of time passed but the money was not returned, so when I called my father, he told me to talk to my brother. When I talked to the brothers, they started procrastinating. When pressured, the brothers started threatening them and saying that the money would not be returned. It is better if you forget him. In such a situation, pressure from my in-laws also started increasing. I didn’t understand what to do. In such a situation, I had no option but to complain to the police.
In this regard, SP North Jitendra Srivastava said that on the complaint of the victim, a case of forgery has been registered against father Dayashankar Lal Srivastava, mother Asha and brothers Arvind, Anil and Sudhir. The case is being investigated. The accused will be arrested soon.
