Grand Celebration of Gita Jayanti by Shri Kailakh Jyotish avim Vedic sansthan Trust

Jammu: On the auspicious occasion of Gita Jayanti, Shri Kailakh Jyotish avim Vedic sansthan Trust organized a grand program today at SD Memorial High School, Karwanda. SP Rural Brijesh Sharma graced the occasion as the chief guest. During the event, all the students, teachers, and the principal collectively recited verses from the Gita, filling the school environment with devotion and reverence.

Addressing the gathering, chief guest SP Rural Brijesh Sharma said, “Studying, listening to, contemplating, and reflecting on the Gita cultivates a sense of excellence in life. The verses of the Gita are not merely messages but fundamental mantras that, when embraced, can benefit all of humanity. The Gita dispels the darkness of ignorance and enlightens the inner self with self-knowledge. It shows the path to liberation from ignorance, sorrow, attachment, anger, desire, and greed. The Gita inspires us to consider action as the primary duty of life.” Sharma also mentioned that he personally follows the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, giving priority to his duties and striving to complete his tasks diligently.

The president of the trust, State Awardee Mahant Rohit Shastri, urged society during the event, saying, “The youth must also be aware of the knowledge of the Gita. The Shrimad Bhagavad Gita holds immense significance in human life. Its teachings acquaint one with life’s realities, inspire selfless action, and inculcate a sense of duty. Especially when one is engulfed in doubt, studying the Gita provides appropriate guidance.”

The school’s director, Rakesh Gandotra, praised Mahant Rohit Shastri’s commendable efforts, stating that his energetic initiatives are guiding society in a new direction. By organizing such programs, he is raising awareness about cultural heritage in society.

The event was graced by notable individuals such as former Sarpanch of Bhalwal, Rajdev Singh, Bhushan Jamwal, Uttam Chand Sharma, Sheetal Gandotra, Lucky Sharma, and many other dignitaries.
